hey, I’m erin.
At one of my most “corporatey” jobs, I was obligated to sit at my desk all day, even if I had finished my work early.
No matter how efficient I was, it didn’t matter.
The expectation was to sit quietly from 9am to 5pm and pretend to be busy, because leaving early was “frowned upon.”
That’s when I realized that I wasn’t just wasting time. I was wasting my life!
Why was I chained to a desk, trapped in a system that valued how long I sat there over the quality of the work I produced?
I hated every minute of it.
I hate, hate, hate corporate rules, corporate lingo, and corporate games.
No, I do not want to put a pin in a project and circle back once synergies are aligned, thank you very much.
One day, I announced that I was leaving early because I had wrapped up all my work. My nearby desk mate said, “I’m done too! Can we really just leave?”
She was too nervous to leave and spent the next 5 hours looking busy.
I left, determined to find something new.
in 2012, everything changed.
I stumbled across the concept of virtual assistance and dove in headfirst.
Finally, a career option where my efficiency wasn’t punished, but rather valued.
I built my own 6-figure VA business from scratch and haven’t stepped back into an office ever since.
Now that I work for myself, if I finish my work for in a handful of hours, I’m out of the desk.
Find me out hiking, paddle boarding, or, let’s be real, taking a nap because I make the rules now.
Napping is highly encouraged in my corporate-free world.
But seriously, why trust me?

I didn't have a blueprint when I started my VA business. I had to figure it out by piecing together random (sometimes incorrect) information from the internet.
I've distilled years of experience into an easy to follow path so you can launch and grow your VA business without the additional stress of hunting for resources.

Trading a desk for the open road.
Ditching the desk was just the beginning.
With my newfound freedom as a VA, I took my business on the road – literally.
My wife and I spent 7 years traveling nonstop around the world (with nothing but a carry-on suitcase and our dog), all while I ran my VA business from my laptop.
From bustling city cafes to beachside bungalows, I've proven that you can truly work from anywhere.
